Do I need to pay a security deposit at Atlantis The Royal?
A mandatory deposit of AED 2,000 per night for all room types, and AED 1,000 per night for Half Board package added to any room booking, is required at check-in for guests who would like to charge purchases and incidentals to their room.

What’s the minimum age requirement to check-in to Atlantis The Royal?
Guest must be 18 years of age or older to book a room at Atlantis The Royal.

What time is check-in and check-out at Atlantis The Royal?
Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

How can I get an early check-in?
The early check-in request can be made at the time of booking. However, it is strictly subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Should the guest request for guaranteed early check in, it is recommended that the booking is made from the previous day.

Can we use the resort facilities if we arrive before check-in?
Yes, once you have checked, the Front Office Reception will assist with luggage storage and provide a temporary identification card to access the beach, pool, and Aquaventure Waterpark, from as early as 10:00am. Pools are open from 9:00am to sunset. Our beach is open from 9:00am to sunset, daily.

Does my stay include entry into The Lost World Aquarium and Aquaventure World?
Yes. All stays at Atlantis The Royal, across every room category, include daily complimentary access to the waterpark at Aquaventure World for each night of stay (9:30am to sunset), along with unlimited access to the Lost World Aquarium (10am to 9pm). No advance reservations are required.

Does Atlantis The Royal cater for people with disabilities?
We have rooms with provisions and amenities for people with disabilities. At the time of booking rooms, the details must be shared for more specifications and to check availability. Available amenities and provisions include wheelchairs, shower stools, toilet frames and accessible phones. These items are strictly subject to availability.

Are there tea and coffee making facilities in the room?
We offer complimentary tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms.

Do you provide an iron and ironing board in the rooms?
Yes, an iron and ironing board are provided in all the rooms at Atlantis The Royal.

Do you provide refrigerators in the room?
All rooms are equipped with minibar fridges which can be emptied upon request. Refrigerators are subject to availability and can be requested at the time of your booking, or during your stay by dialing “0” for assistance.

What’s the weather in Dubai like?
Dubai has a tropical desert climate, with mild winters (December – February) and warm spring and autumn days, with balmy days and very little rain. Summers (June – August) are extremely hot and humid, with an average high of around 41°C (106°F) and overnight lows around 30°C (86°F). Can I visit Atlantis Dubai if I’m not staying at the hotel?
Visitors are welcome to dine at our restaurants and bars, book spa and salon services at AWAKEN Wellness and AEON Clinic, visit Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost World Aquarium and book diving, dolphin and sea lion experiences.

For day visitors who would like to visit an in-house guest at Atlantis The Royal, the in-house guest must register them at the main reception prior to the visit. Day visitors must be able to provide the in-house guest’s room number and full name to be let through by security. They are also required to present valid identification at the main reception. Lastly, in-house guests must collect the day visitors from the lobby and personally lead them up to their room.

How much is a taxi from Abu Dhabi Airport to Atlantis The Royal?
A taxi from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Atlantis The Royal takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes and costs approximately AED 280–340.

Do you offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport?

Can I arrive by helicopter to the resort?
Yes, the resort helipad is located next to the Casablanca Beach Club Parking at Atlantis, The Palm.

How do I travel between Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal easily?
Guests accessing Aquaventure Waterpark may use the resort buggies which depart from the Royal Pool Pavilion stop on the Promenade Level, between 8:30am and 6:30pm (times are subject to change dependent upon the seasons).

Mercedes Sprinter shuttles between both resorts are available from the resort lobbies and The Avenues at Atlantis, The Palm between 8:00am and 3:00am (times are subject to change dependent upon the seasons).

What is the dress code during Ramadan?
The dress code during the Holy Month of Ramadan depends on which restaurants you are dining in, however it is recommended to dress conservatively during this time.

Are there any prayer rooms in Atlantis The Royal?
We have a male and female prayer room available near the Conference Centre on the Galleria Level.

Do you have a medical clinic or pharmacy in the hotel?
Our guest clinic is open from 9:00am – 10:00pm daily and paramedic assistance is available 24/7. The Marina Pharmacy is located a short drive by buggy in the West Tower of Atlantis, The Palm.

Do you provide hotel guests with towels for the beach and the pools?
Yes, we provide complimentary towels for all hotel guests. Towels can be collected from the cabanas at the pool, beach and Aquaventure Waterpark.

How do I check out?
Guests may either settle their bill a night before they check out or go directly to the front office by 12.00pm to finalise their account.

How can I arrange a late check-out?
You can request a late check-out at the time of booking, or request it on the day, however, it is strictly subject to availability and will incur an additional charge.

Can I still use the hotel facilities once I've checked out?
Yes, there are many facilities that can be used on the day you check out. All guests are welcome to access Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost World Aquarium after 12:00pm. A pass is given at the Front Office at the time of check out. We also have the changing and shower facilities at the Aquaventure Waterpark from 9:00am until sunset.

How can I provide feedback on my stay?

Which restaurants are suitable for couples at Atlantis The Royal?
All restaurants at Atlantis The Royal are suitable for couples. For a romantic dining experience, we suggest Michelin-award winning Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, or Estiatorio Milos which overlooks the Skyblaze Fountain.

Can I book brunch at Atlantis The Royal?
We currently do not offer brunch at Atlantis The Royal restaurants, please stay tuned as we announce the launch of new brunches soon.

Is there a minimum age policy at your restaurants?
Most of the restaurants at Atlantis Dubai are open to guests of all ages. Please note that certain age restrictions do apply at specific venues including: Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, La Mar, Ling Ling, estiatorio Milos and Nobu by The Beach restaurant. We recommend contacting the venues or visiting the restaurant websites for more information on age policies.

The following restaurants welcome children of all ages: Ariana's Persian Kitchen, Gastronomy, Malibu 90265, The Royal Pool & Beach, The Royal Tearoom, Elements, Seascapes, and House of Desserts.

Cloud 22 and Nobu by the Beach pool are only available for guests 21 years old and above.

Are photos included?

What's included in the price I pay?
The price includes an interactive dolphin or sea lion experience, a marine specialist for the duration of your experience, a locker, towels and water/juices.

Is there a dress code?
For Dolphin Encounter, Dolphin Swim and Sea Lion Dip & Play a wetsuit is required and will be provided for free for your experience, lifejackets are optional. Participants must wear appropriate swimsuits underneath the wetsuit. Only Atlas Village wetsuits/vests will be permitted during the experience.

Do I have to be able to swim?
We offer dolphin and sea lion experiences for all ages and swimming abilities. Contact us to find your perfect programme.

If I book a dolphin or sea lion experience, am I allowed to use the hotel’s pools and beaches?
The hotel pool and beaches are exclusively for hotel guests. However, all our fun and educational dolphin and sea lion experiences include FREE same-day access to Aquaventure Waterpark and private Aquaventure Beach.

Do you provide parking?
If you are arriving by car, please park your vehicle at Aquaventure Waterpark parking (turn right at the first roundabout after exiting the tunnel leading to Atlantis, The Palm). A complimentary shuttle bus service will take you to the Aquaventure and Atlas Village Ticketing Plaza. If you're staying with us at Atlantis The Royal, kindly make your way to the Atlas Village counters at Aquaventure Ticketing Plaza or meet us directly at the Atlas Village reception.

Do you recommend/make Dolphin or Sea lion Experience bookings for guests with disabilities?
Atlas Village is committed to providing the best possible experience for People of Determination. Am I allowed to book an interaction if I'm pregnant?
If you are pregnant and are interested in experiencing a dolphin or sea lion programme, please consult your physician. Please inform the Reservation Agents once you are at Atlantis The Royal of any medical conditions that could affect your participation. Pregnant guests are not permitted in the Dolphin Swim and Dolphin Encounter programmes.

Am I allowed take my camera in the water?
Cameras, jewellery, hair accessories or any loose accessories are not allowed in the water for the safety of our animals. You can purchase photos taken by our professional photographer.

What is the price for adults and for children?
Access to Aquaventure Waterpark is complimentary for all guests staying at Atlantis The Royal. For day visitors, ticket prices bought at Aquaventure Waterpark counter vary depending on the season. Prices can be found on AquaventureWorld.com.

What are the opening times for Aquaventure Waterpark?
Daily, from 9:15am until sunset.

Is there a premium or VIP experience available at Aquaventure Waterpark?
There is a wide selection of premium seating and private luxury cabanas available that you can book for the day. The AquaXpress fast pass allows you to ride more and wait less.

Do you charge for lockers?
Small and large lockers are available for daily rental. You can get yours at the park entrance or at any Guest Services kiosk inside the park.

Do you charge for towels?
Yes, you can rent your large beach towel at the park entrance or at any Guest Services kiosk inside the park.

Do you provide parking?

Are we allowed to bring our own food and drink?
Visitors are not allowed to bring food or beverages, glassware or alcohol into Aquaventure Waterpark. Aquaventure Waterpark reserves the right to inspect all bags for any such items.

What's the minimum age to access the waterpark alone? If unaccompanied by an adult, children must be at least 13 years old to enter Aquaventure Waterpark. To ensure the safety of our guests, access to certain rides is restricted to those over 1.2m. All people over 1.2m are required to purchase an adult ticket.

If I book tickets to the waterpark, does this include access to the Lost World Aquarium?
All stays at Atlantis The Royal include complimentary access to the waterpark and The Lost World Aquarium. For day visitors, you can purchase the Aquaventure Super Pass at the Ticketing counter which includes The Lost World Aquarium access. If you already purchased your waterpark ticket, you can purchase an aquarium add-on for only AED 55.

What's the dress policy?

• Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times. Management reserves the right to deny access to any guest in inappropriate swimwear.
• Acceptable swimwear: one-piece/two-piece swimsuit, speedo, rash guard, board shorts and burkini
• Unacceptable swimwear: abayas, sarees, cotton tops/bottoms, jeans, long pants, undergarments, street clothing and sheer/see-through items or other materials deemed inappropriate

Are we allowed to bring buggies into the waterpark?
Yes, baby strollers/prams are allowed.

Am I allowed to visit the waterpark if I'm pregnant?
Pregnant women are allowed into the waterpark, however many of the slides are not recommended for pregnant guests. Please consult your Physician prior to using any of the attractions in Aquaventure Waterpark.

Am I allowed to use my camera and selfie stick on the waterslides?
Selfie Sticks, Handheld Go Pro’s, and/or other action cameras are not allowed on any slides. Mobile phones are only allowed if safely secured in a waterproof neck pouch on Aquaventure Waterpark slides.

What Is The Lost World Aquarium?
The Lost World Aquarium is home to 21 different marine exhibits and home to 65,000 incredible marine animals with over 250 different species.

How much does it cost?
Access to The Lost World Aquarium is included in your stay as an Atlantis The Royal guest. Day-visitors can purchase tickets on the website here or at The Lost World Aquarium Ticketing Plaza directly.

What are the opening times?
Daily, 10.00am – 9.00pm. Opening times can change due to seasonality.

How long is the experience?
The Lost World Aquarium is a free-roaming experience. You may stay inside as long as you would like. The aquarium closes at 9:00pm.

Do you provide parking?
The Lost World Aquarium is located in The Avenues in Atlantis, The Palm. Complimentary valet parking is available at The Avenues (based on availability). Resort guests may take the complimentary shuttle service from the Atlantis The Royal lobby.

Can I dive or snorkel in the aquarium?
The Lost World Aquarium offers a wide range of thrilling underwater adventures, including aquarium scuba diving, snorkelling, and walking underwater with Aquatrek and Shark Safari.

Do I have to be a certified diver to experience the aquarium programmes?
No, there are plenty of experiences for non-certified divers. The Dive Discovery experience is perfect for non-certified divers aged 10 and above. You can scuba among thousands of marine species, including local sharks, various species of swooping rays and hundreds of other incredible marine species.

Are there experiences for certified divers?
This brave quest for voyagers aged 10 and above is the ultimate way to get breathtakingly close to our sharks and rays. Hand-feed the legends of the deep in an aquarium famed for its amazing depth and marine diversity.

Do you offer PADI courses?

What time do the spa and the fitness centre open?
AWAKEN Spa is open daily from 11am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 9pm on Saturday and Sunday. AWAKEN Fitness is open daily from 6am to 9pm.

Are AWAKEN Spa and AWAKEN Fitness access complimentary for resort guests?
Both AWAKEN Spa and AWAKEN Fitness are accessible to both hotel and external guests.
The fitness centre is available to guests over the age of 16 years old. Guests 12 years old to 15 years only can use the fitness centre between 9:00am & 2:00pm daily.

Is the AWAKEN Elements Retreat complimentary for resort guests?
The Elements retreat consist of a Halotherapy Salt Cave, Hydrotherapy Pool and Air Loungers, Snow Fountain, Alchemy Shower, Aromatherapy Steam, Charcoal Sauna, Tepidarium Loungers, Deep Relaxation Retreat, Meditation Garden and Refreshment Lounge. Only guests who have booked a spa treatment will have access to the Elements Retreat spa facilities.

Can children use the spa and fitness facilities?
Between 9:00am and 2:00pm daily, guests aged 12 and above are welcome to enjoy select spa treatments if accompanied by a same-gender parent or guardian. All areas after 2:00pm are strictly for adults only. Do you offer group fitness classes?
AWAKEN Fitness offers group classes and guests can book for a variety of studio and aquatic fitness classes. The class schedule is available on the Atlantis App or on the website here.

Do you offer personal training?
Yes. The professional trainers at AWAKEN Fitness offer private sessions, whether it's a bi-weekly personal training program or a supercharged session on your holiday. If I really enjoyed a product used during my treatment, am I able to purchase this at the AWAKEN Boutique?

Atlantis Explorers Club is open to Atlantis The Royal hotel guests, and is a high energy, supervised activity program for children aged 3 to 12 based on the themes of Play, Create, Explore & Marine Education.

What are the hours of operation?
Atlantis Explorers Club is open daily from 9:00pm - 10:00pm and offers two different adventures for children with a daily morning Open House session available for families.

• Open House: 9:00am - 12:00pm
• Afternoon Adventure: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
• Evening Adventure: 6:00pm - 10:00pm

What are the fees for each child?
Guests staying in the hotel can use their Explorers Club benefits for up to 2 children per room as shown below:

Atlantis Explorers Club offers children aged 3 to 12 a daily supervised activity programme with a focus on adventure, creativity, exploration & marine education. Children are inspired to unleash their imagination to become a pirate, a marine biologist or even an Olympic champion with active and passive activities such as Kids Fitness, Arts & Crafts , Jr. Science, Active Games, Evening Events and Marine Activities.

What's the age limit for Atlantis Explorers Club?
Atlantis Explorers Club is designed for children ages 3 to 12 (proof of age is required on initial visit).

My child is almost 3 years old; can he still attend the Explorers Club?
Children less than 3 years old would need to be with one of our trained babysitters for one-to-one care (Babysitting fees and Explorers Club admission fees apply – and subject to availability of babysitter).

My child is still in diapers, are they able to attend the Explorers Club?
Children in diapers are more than welcome to attend Explorers Club; however they will need to be assisted by one of our trained babysitters (babysitting fees and Explorers Club admission fees apply – and subject to availability of babysitter).

Do you provide snacks or meals for children who are in the Atlantis Explorers Club?
Children will need to have eaten breakfast, lunch or dinner prior to their visit. We recommend children have a full meal before coming to the Explorers Club as no food or snacks are served, however water is available anytime.

If I'm a hotel guest, do I have to pay extra?
Hotel guests receive complimentary access to the Atlantis Explorers Club for children aged 3 to 12.

Are the parents or personal Nanny allowed to accompany the child/ren in the Explorers Club?
Explorers Club is an adult-free zone, due to our strict child safety and security policy parents and nannies will not be permitted in the facility. If you require one to one supervision during the Explorers Club activities, you can book one of our trained babysitters to accompany your child. Please contact Explorers Club directly if there are special considerations for your child.

Explorers Club does welcome families of all ages for a daily Open House session from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

Are tours given at Atlantis Explorers Club?
Atlantis Explorers Club does not offer tours of the facility; however families can visit the Explorers Club during Open House which takes place every morning between 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Do you offer babysitting services?

Can adults go inside the Explorers Club during a birthday party?
Atlantis Explorers Club is an adult free zone; however parents are welcome to join for the last 30 minutes of the birthday party for the cake cutting ceremony.
