Born and raised in India, Sadaf moved to Dubai at the age of 23. She owes much of her success to her mom who made sacrifices throughout her life for the betterment of their family. Blessed with two beautiful girls and a supportive, loving husband, family ranks high on Sadaf’s value chain. While she feels extremely proud and blessed to be part of the Atlantis family, she still calls her mom everyday – even briefly – to hear her voice and know she is doing well.

“Growing up, I don’t recall having a specific career in mind; I was just driven to be successful at whatever I set out to do. I was approached via LinkedIn for this role and was successful following the interview. I joined Atlantis in 2020 as Procurement Manager. In my role, I oversee management of the procurement engineering and FF&E team. This involves driving procurement processes, tenders, strategic sourcing, and contract management activities. We have to formulate and execute strategic sourcing to streamline project functions, while providing cost-reduction recommendations to minimise expenses.

There have been many lessons learnt along the way in this fast-paced hospitality industry. The best part of working in such an energetic environment is that professional and personal growth also develops at high speed. I find it tremendously satisfying to be faced with intellectual challenges; it keeps me engaged and motivated. Clearly, you can tell I place great value on new learnings and self-development. Through it all, remaining humble and compassionate in and outside the workplace is very important to me. I believe the world would be a better place if we all just practiced humility and compassion.”
