Whether you’re interested in learning more about the dolphins you can swim with at Dolphin Cay or just want the fun to last a little longer, our interactive Education Center is worth the visit.
Here you’ll find electronic stations where you can read about our dolphins rescued from Hurricane Katrina, or learn more about dolphins in the wild and what you can do to help protect them.

You can even send a free, customized e-postcard to a friend. Admission is free and open to all visitors of Atlantis.

Wade in the waters of one of the world’s newest and largest dolphin habitats, where these curious, intelligent animals show off their playful side—and zoom in up close for you to meet.	Snorkel, dive, or swim alongside dolphins with your own water scooter. Then experience an unforgettable thrill as a pair of dolphins race you across the lagoon on our signature “foot push.”	Lounge as little or as long as you wish on the secluded sands of Dolphin Cay’s private beaches, and enjoy beach-side service as dolphins jump and play just a few feet away. News

The first offspring from the famed rescued “Katrina Dolphins” were born at Dolphin Cay. The first calf was born to 32-year-old Kelly on April 4, 2007. A second calf, was born on April 6, 2007 to 21-year-old Michelle. Kelly, Michelle and 14 of their fellow Dolphin Cay residents, were stranded or swept to sea when their former home at the Marine Life Oceanarium in Gulfport, Mississippi, was destroyed during the infamous Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. After being rescued and nursed back to health, all of the dolphins were eventually transported to Atlantis to fully recover and reside at Dolphin Cay’s new state-of-the-art habitat. “These births are the first successful ones for Dolphin Cay from the rescued ‘Katrina Dolphins’ that are expecting offspring, a true testament to the full recovery and acclimation of these miraculous animals.” said Frank Murru, Chief Marine Officer, Kerzner International.
