Aquaventure adds first-of-its-kind special effects and technology to its Power Tower water slides and The Current river rides. Guests are propelled along the mile-long river in their inner tubes via water escalators, rolling waves and extreme rapids utilizing master blaster technology. Unlike traditional water slides that require guests to exit the water and climb back to the start, Aquaventure guests on The Current never leave the water as they are propelled back up the slide tower via water conveyors.

LAZY RIVER
Everyone in the family will enjoy the relaxing and scenic Lazy River, located outside the Beach Tower. Sitting in inner tubes, guests slowly meander around a quarter-mile loop guided by a gentle current through a tropical landscape.

THE CURRENT
Experience a one-of-a-kind mile-long river journey that sends inner tube riders through a densely landscaped tropical jungle of extreme rapids, mysterious caves and rolling 4-5 foot waves. Unique water conveyors also provide access to the Power Tower slides, thus allowing guests to stay in their inner tubes for the ride to the top.
