Terrance and I were together for seven years before he proposed on my birthday in 2010. As cliché as it may sound, it was a day I will always remember. It feels like it was just yesterday, as does my wedding day, June 10, 2011, the day I married my best friend, my lover, my soul mate that God gave to me. I'd long dreamt of a beachfront wedding and sharing that day with the people dearest to us. This is what we treasure most. The moment I stepped foot on the Atlantis resort and the Cloisters at One & Only Ocean Club, where the wedding ceremony was going to take place, I was breathless and filled with tears of joy. It was at that moment that I knew with certainty this is where we were meant to get married.

Everything was so beautiful and we planned a whole weekend full of events that I am certain everyone loved. The Atlantis is elegant and enchanting and I have been told many times that my wedding is the most beautiful and unforgettable wedding our guests had ever been to or seen pictures of. It will remain the best day of my life for as long as I live.
