Learn the fundamentals of golf, starting with your grip, posture and alignment, as well as the basics on how to putt, chip, pitch and full swing. Meet other kids with the same love of golf to learn a bit about the game, core values and have lots of fun!

| Michael Simms (Right), PGA of Canada and Director of Instruction Hometown: Toronto, Canada Year Joined the Ocean Club: 2009
Mike brings a vast amount of instructional experience to the Ocean Club. He has most recently served as the Class A Golf Professional at the Lyford Cay Club in Nassau, Bahamas where he oversaw individual, group and junior lesson programs. In addition, Mike has developed numerous instructional programs while working at The Country Club in Woodbridge, Canada from 2001-2006.
Mike has a passion for living an active lifestyle and enjoys the thrill of competition. He has an extensive Junior, Collegiate and Professional Golf resume and competes on the PGA of Canada professional circuit. He also enjoys playing hockey in the Nassau Street Hockey League and participating in Half Marathon competitions where he finished 160th in the 2009 ING Miami Half Marathon and 3rd place in the 2010 Bahamas Half Marathon.
As our Director of Instruction, Mike will be overseeing all Junior and Adult Instructional Programs. It is his goal to make sure that you get the most out of your game in a fun and safe environment during your stay at the Ocean Club.
